Many photographic situations requiring long exposure times or the need for a stabilizing influence. That is why a tripod is a useful tool for photographers. However, this is not just a matter of knowing when to use a tripod. You should know how to properly use one to ensure that there is enough support for your DSLR.
Using a tripod
- First, make sure your tripod adequately support the weight of your digital SLR camera. It is not good to buy a cheap flimsy tripod for $ 5, then expect a DSLR with attached lens support! Investments in more robust and with a tripod you can afford.

- A simple way to ensure that your landscape has a level horizon line is to use a tripod. Once you have leveled the tripod and set it right, you will not have to worry about your camera angle to compose an image.
