Troubleshooting Canon DSLR

If you have a problem with your Canon (DSLR) digital SLR camera, you can see an error message, or you may experience problems when the camera-lens Advanced provides no visual indication.

Although it can be frustrating when the camera offers no easy way to follow the problem as an error message, you can use the following tips to solve your Canon DSLR.

  • The images are blurry or out of focus. If this problem is not often sharply by the camera auto-focus system on the subject. If you are not to do with a particular topic, the AF system, try to access an object, the focus at the same distance from the camera to the subject. Keep the shutter button halfway to lock the autofocus and then reassembled the image with the object to the desired location and take a photo. Another common cause of blurred images is dirty or misty lens. With interchangeable lenses in a DSLR, make sure that the front and back of the lens is clean.
  • Autofocus will not take me. If the above solution does not work to improve the performance of the automatic focus of the camera, try a larger depth of field by a smaller aperture (larger f-number). Make sure the focus switch on the camera (usually on the side of the lens) is set to AF (auto focus), rather than MF (manual focus). Try using a tripod to avoid camera shake. You can also try using manual focus when auto focus is not easy to detect a specific topic.
  • The camera does not turn on. SLR Canon will not work if the battery is not inserted correctly, or cover the battery cover or the memory card open. In addition, the battery is not charging, when the battery temperature during charging, which means you can have the battery is too high.
  • You can not with ISO 100 Canon digital SLR camera when the "Highlight Priority" is selected, you must change this setting to disable to shoot ISO 100.
  • Stops video recording of yourself. If the memory card you use with your Canon digital SLR camera can not follow the write speed of the video camera, can have the camera to stop the video recording to "catch up" to allow memory card. Use the fastest SD card memory, you can while shooting video, preferably class 6 or 10th
  • I can not see all the menu options is used. Depending on the shooting mode that does not show Canon digital SLR all the menu options. Only the options menu, you can select the shooting mode screen appears. Change higher available with more manual options control for more shooting options menu mode.
  • The file number is odd. If you have a memory card in the camera, you have some photos stored on the camera, pick up numbering last stored on the card can insert instead of the last shot with the Canon DSLR photo camera.
  • File names are odd. If you take pictures in the Adobe RGB color space with the Canon digital SLR camera, the first character of the file name is an underscore (_), which could lead to your computer when downloading images to problems. To obtain a set of common file name, use sRGB as the color space setting.
